About our Art déco guesthouse in Bordeaux
Bordeaux à Cœur: an Art déco house near Place de la Victoire, central Bordeaux, run with care by a certified local guide. The house, the welcome, getting here.
The house, and your host
Bordeaux à Cœur is first of all a house: an elegant Art Deco home, just a few steps — 80 metres — from Place de la Victoire, in the beating heart of Bordeaux. A warm base from which to discover the city on foot, at your own pace.
My name is Cathy. As a certified local guide, I’ve walked Bordeaux for years and never tired of it. Welcoming you under my roof, then leading you through its lanes, squares and stories, is my way of sharing the city I know and love.
Here there’s no middleman and no call centre: you book direct, and it’s me who answers, advises you and opens the door. Since 2016, I’ve welcomed every traveller as a guest — breakfast included, a few good addresses, and all the time you need.

How to reach Bordeaux à Cœur?
You are traveling...
... by bike:
For cyclists, the house offers you a secure shelter (at no extra cost) for your bikes, and I provide a foot pump and small repair kit if needed.
... by car:
Upon arriving in Bordeaux, head towards "Bordeaux centre / place de la Victoire". You can park in front of the house door while unloading your luggage, and if you have reserved it at the same time as the room, you can then park in the underground Victoire parking lot (secure and monitored). Please consult the reservation conditions on the dedicated page.
... by train:
From Bordeaux Saint-Jean Station, a direct bus takes you in 10 minutes to the "Victoire" stop, 40m from the house. Tickets can be purchased at the TBM station counter or when boarding the bus.
... by plane:
Thanks to the tramway, Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is 45 minutes from the house. Change at "Hôtel de ville", then take tram line B towards Pessac. Stop "Victoire".
Once settled, all movements are easily done on foot or by tram.
If you are staying for several days, it is advisable to get a TBM 10-trip card, which is more advantageous. Tickets can be purchased at TBM counters, on buses, or at tram station vending machines.
Bikes ("VCUB") are available for self-service throughout the city and allow you to travel easily on the numerous dedicated cycle paths. Rental conditions on the site Transports Bordeaux Métropole.
